Rocketry Day with PSN STEM Club 03-02-2024
Opa-Locka Squadron Push Rocketry Day
The Palm Springs North elementary school STEM club brought their students to the Opa-Locka squadron, FMU (Florida Memorial University), to design push rockets.
The students, after a classroom instruction and after completing their rocket models, went outside and launched their individual rockets on a pressurized launch platform. Cadets and senior members facilitated these activities.
In attendance were Captains Miguel de la Fuente and Roberto Rodriguez, as well as First Lieutenant Nicholas Rodriguez, and Cadets Perez and Longobardi.
